Double Icon On Desktop

Are you have a problem due to double icon on your desktop , when you place one shortcut only? If you delete on icon is delete both icons are deleted?
You can solve this problem by  registry edit . For this follow method given below
          Start menu ===>  select '  RUN' window
           Type     'Regedit'
Then registry editor is open by enter key  and come to 
HKEY-CURRENT-USER\SOftware\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Then changes to %USER PROFILE\DESKTOP in the Desktop key that present in the right side
Then come to    ' HKEY-CURRENT-USER\SOftware\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders'    and changes the Common Desktop value to % ALL USERPROFILE%\ 
And then close the registry editor and restart the computer
